Dhani Stocks App

Dhani Stocks app provides trading in Equity, F&O,
Currency and Commodity segments. Dhani stocks
app empowers investors to invest in the stock
market right at their fingertips and thereby take
complete control over their investments with the
help of multiple customizable Watch-lists,
advanced Intraday & Historical charts with studies,
Bracket & Cover order facility, Instant funds
transfer, Portfolio & Transactions reports, Online
IPO and much more. Dhani stocks app also allows
non-clients to register and open instant and
paperless Trading & Demat account. We invite you

1. Login

You can access the Dhani Stocks through our Dhani

App. If you are not registered on Dhani, you can do
so by following these simple steps:

• Install & open Dhani

App.

• Register using your

mobile number. Dhani
Stocks

• Now go to the
“Money” section and
click on the Dhani
Stocks image or
“Stocks” menu in the
top header. You will Money
section
land on Dhani Stocks
screen.

After landing on Dhani

stocks screen, you can
choose to login if you
are an existing
Existing customer.
Client

If you are new to Dhani

New
Clients Stocks, click on “Open
New Account” to open
instant paperless
Demat cum trading
account.

You can log in by

entering either of your
Customer ID or Mobile
Number or e-mail id.

Reset password
If you Forgot your from here

password, click on
“Forgot password” to
reset your password.
Just authenticate with
your PAN and the
password will be sent
to your registered
mobile and email.

If multiple accounts are

mapped to a mobile or
e-mail id, you will be
shown the client ids
which are mapped on

Once successfully logged in, you will land on the

Watchlist section. Following options will always
be available at the bottom for quick access from
any screen.

View & manage View Portfolio Personal details, Reports,

Stocks and F&O holdings IPO, Settings, etc.

Order book / Trade Add / Withdraw funds &

book & Net Position Margin against Holding

• Watchlist – This option allows you to manage

your watchlist; access multiple watchlists
available such as - Pre-defined watchlist and
Custom watchlist. You can create your
customized watchlist and add your favorite
scrips and can also place an order directly from
your watchlist. If you want to view details of a
particular scrip, you can do so by searching the
scrip name from the search bar.

• Orders – The order section allows you to view

your Order Book, Trade Book, and Net position
details.

• Portfolio – You can view your portfolio

holdings in this section. You can also view the
purchase price of the stock along with the
profit/loss and one-click order execution.

• Funds – You can add and withdraw funds from

the Funds section. You can also opt for a
Margin against holdings from this section.

• Accounts – you can view and edit your

personal details from this section. You can also
access back office reports, Online IPO, and
Margin against holdings from this section. You
can customize your app using the settings
option under Accounts and use the Helpdesk
details under the support section to reach out
to our helpdesk.

2. Market

The market section can be accessed by clicking

on the “m” icon on the top left of each main
screen. You can view various indices and the
intraday charts of each indices in this section.

3. Watchlist
The Watchlist section Pre-defined
Custom
Watchlists
has 2 pre-defined Watchlist.

watchlists i.e., Nifty 50

and Sensex 30. There
are 3 custom Add scrips &
Contracts
Watchlist and you can
add up to 50 stocks /
F&O contract /
Currency or Left swipe the
scrip to delete
Commodity futures to
each Watchlist. You
can add your favorite
scrips by clicking on
the search bar on the
top and typing the
required scrip name
and can easily delete a
scrip by swiping left on
the scrip.

Filter Auto search will start

your
search showing after you type

You can select the
check box to add scrip

4. Order Screen
From Order Screen, you can place orders for a
selected scrip(s).
Toggle between Buy / Sell option are

Confirm order screen allows you to preview order

details before you place the final order.
Once you have placed an order successfully, you
will get an option to go to the Watchlist, Order
book, or Trade book with a single click.

5. Orders
Various transaction reports such as Order book,
Trade book and Net Positions can be viewed from
the order menu.

order validity.
• Cancel: With this, you
can cancel any of your
pending or partially
pending orders.

The Trade Book section

clicking on the scrip

❖ Net Position
The Net Position
section of the Dhani
Stocks App displays a
summary of open
positions across all
segments.

It also shows you the

Avg. Price, unrealized
and booked Profit /
Loss.

Following actions are available to you for your

open positions:

✓ Square off Open Positions: You can square

off your open positions in any respective
segment through this option. It will take you
to the order entry screen with pre-filled
details like Scrip / Contract, Qty etc.
✓ Transfer Open Positions: This option
allows you to convert the product from Cash
to Intraday and vice-versa in Equity, Carry
forward to Intraday and vice-versa in F&O
CDS.

6. Portfolio
The Portfolio section of the Dhani Stocks App
displays the overall value of your portfolio.
You can view the current value of your Holdings,
unrealized gains, avg price of each scrip, and day’s
Profit & Loss.

You can add or exit

7. Funds

The Funds section of the Dhani Stocks App allows

you to keep a track of your funds.

Here you can view the total margin available; the

amount of margin utilized, the amount of cash and
collateral Margin available for trading along with
Margin against Holding.

Below three options can be accessed under Funds.

❖ Add Funds: This

allows you to
transfer funds from
the linked bank
account to your
Dhani Stocks trading
account via Net
banking or UPI.

❖ Withdraw Funds:
This allows you to
withdraw funds from
your Dhani Stocks
trading account to
your bank accounts.

❖ Margin against Holding: If you wish to get

margin against your holding, click on this option
and follow simple instructions.

8. Account
The Account section of the Dhani Stocks App gives
you an overview of your account.

Within this section, you

find various details of your
account such as your
profile, Backoffice reports,
margin against holdings,
settings, etc.

Following actions are

available to you under the
Account section:

view/update your
basic details including

debits in your account.

• Transaction report – Allows you to view all the

transaction in your account.

• Contract Notes – This allows you to view and

download your contract notes.

❖ Online IPO:
Online IPO allows you
to bid for an IPO

This allows you to get a
