2. Intended Readers:
The most obvious readers would be general readership of Wikipedia. I can also think of other
intended readers as well. For examples college students who are just learning about the material.
Perhaps someone who is just starting a career in an industry related to the topic and wants to have
a general idea. It can also be someone who landed on the page after following hyperlink.
3. Order of Information:
Short introduction paragraph that briefly defines the keyword followed by a broad overview. Then,
it will eventually become more and more specific. For example, I can give examples, different
applications, how it works, perhaps advantages and disadvantages.
4. Types of Evidence:
References to peer-reviewed works, graphics, methods. Graphics could include illustration of the
principle of operation, picture of the item. Methods could perhaps talk about different available
techniques/resources.
6. Graphics:
The purpose of graphic presentation is to help intended readers focus their attention on what is the
most important sections of my text. I am thinking to bold and make the headings and subheadings
bigger than the text. Also, dividing longer paragraph into shorter paragraph helps to make the text a
bit easier to read. Perhaps I can also put certain words in italics.
