І. General Info
Sagem JTAG Unlocker together with hardware dongle serves as unlocking tool for M62 and
M62+ based phones. That includes all
V55, X55, X5-2, SG341i, SG322i, X4, C5-2, C3 and C3B phones,
X1, X1-2, X2, X2-2, X3, X5, X6, X7, V65, V75, C1, C2, C2-2, C4, C5w and Wonu.
This includes stand-alone solution for most of the new Sagem phones, using new algorithms
such as
We also offer remote unlocking service for most of the models (X2, X3, X5, C2 and C2-2, as
well as some older phones) via on-line server.
Note 1: The server is able to unlock and repair all Infineon based Sagem phones.
Note 2: Models like V65, V75, V55, X5, X5-2 X55, SG341I, C3, C3B, C5-2 and so on, can be
unlocked only using JTAG solutions. Such device is our Sagem JTAG Unlocker.
ІІ. Usage
4. After 3 to 10 seconds the program should bring to the screen all the required information, as
shown in Fig. 1a.

Some new phones (e.g. X-1w, Trio, Twin and so on), based on new algorithms do not have an
auto speed option. Instead the speed is set to 19200 bps. In that case check the Manual speed
19200 box. See Fig. 1b.

Direct Unlock allows you to directly enter the unlock code into the phone, which saves time.
This is done in two steps (please follow the instructions in the program window). We
recommend using this option only if many phones from one type are going to be unlocked one
after other, after successful test, of course.
Warning!!! Using Direct Unlock on phones, showing the "Hardware failure" message can be
problematic. In such case use Restore Default Lock button.
ІІІ. Troubleshooting
There are several possibilities for unsuccessful operation. Error message then appears (see
Fig. 2). You have to note, that there is absolutely no risk of phone damage. Before you contact
our support team, make sure that the problem is not listed in Table 1, or the given solution
doesn’t work.

Note 1: It is necessary to remove and place back the phone battery and repeat the whole
procedure after that.
There are several other error messages, indicating communication issues. After solving the
problem, the whole procedure has to be repeated until successful code generation.
If "Code can't be calculated" message appears, use the dongle together with the Sagem
Logger_V1.x and send the log to [email protected]. The code will be calculated and given
to You for free. Such activity also helps future logger updates.
