between 5℃ and 43℃. Use of this device at temperatures
below 5℃ may cause the compressor to fail.
Ambient temperatures above 43℃ may impede heat release
from the condenser, resulting in safety-device activation and
product shutdown. If you need to install the product in an
area where ambient temperatures may exceed 43℃, you
must set up ductwork to supply outside air directly to the air
intake on the cabinet, or else construct an outdoor exhaust
port to carry warm air outside the building. Be sure that the
design does not result in a drop in the fan airflow.
5. If using an outdoor setup, pay particular attention to instructions 2 through 4 above. Be sure to arrange
the product so that the intake fan dose not pick up warm blow off from the condenser.
IMPORTANT
●If installing ducts, be sure that these are sufficiently wide and unobstructed throughout their
entire length. Bad ducts may cause triggering of safety devices and shutdown of product.

2. Connect the ground.
Ground connection must be set up by a qualified electrician. The ground wire must be
connected to the dedicated ground terminal. The wire diameter must be at least 2mm2.
3. Select the power-cord capacity in accordance with the maximum drive current as indicated in the table
below. Attach the ground wire to the ground screw within the distributing board.

4. When connecting the power-cord, remove the RH side front panel of the cabinet before connecting the
power-code to the R,S and T terminals of the terminal block in the distributing board.
5. This equipment operates on 3-phase power. Phases must
therefore be connected up correctly.
If power phases are inverted, error code will appear
on the display when you start up the power supply. If this
occurs, you should cut the power immediately. You can
then correct the problem by interchanging the terminal
connections of any two of the three power-cord wires, as
shown in the illustration. Never attempt to force operation
by holding the electromagnetic contactor with the fingers or
switch cord connections on the secondary side.
6. Note that the supplied power voltage should remain within 10% of the rated value while the cooler is
operating.
Also, use the power supply voltage with phase imbalance rate of 3% or less.
Phase imbalance rate [V]=(max. voltage [V]−min. voltage [V]) / average volt among of three phases [V]×67
(according to IEC91800-3)

IMPORTANT
●Keep the power cable off the motor inside the product or the refrigerant piping. The heat from
the piping might melt the cords, leading to electric leakage. (Fix the power cable in place with
the binding band inside the distributing board. As for positions, see page 50)
●When starting up the power supply, be sure to proceed in accordance with the instructions
given in the Operating Procedures section of this manual.
●Never operate the cooler without water in the system. Be sure that there is sufficient water in
the tank before starting up the product.
●Do not run withstand voltage tests or insulation resistance tests.
Failure to observe this may result in damage to the controller or the inverter's
semi-conductors.
