Barangay Buenlag 2nd

Buenlag 2nd is a barangay of Bayambang in Pangasinan within Region 1-
Ilocos in the island of Luzon, Philippines. The population of Buenlag 2nd, Bayambang
as of the 2020 census is 1,542 and counting. It was founded in the 16th century by
Agalet, an Aeta and its first leader is Teniente Hermeniano Junio. The elected Barangay
Captain in this barangay is Eligio L. Calimlim Jr and it’s kagawad are John Acosta
Galsim, Ildefonso Castillo Ferrer, Alfredo Cervantes Ferrer, Eric C. Ferrer, and Odelon
Tulugan Santos.
Like other barangays, Barangay Buenlag 2 nd is dealing with different problems.

To ensure that its residents have a good quality of life, Barangay Buenlag 2nd
worked diligently to maintain order and advance development. This addresses the
specific problems and issues and a longer-term engagement and empowerment
strategy. My primary objective with this initiative is to assist and provide solutions for the
issues that our barrio is now experiencing. And by doing this, we will be able to keep our
beloved barangay in a state of prosperity and order.
