Closing Program Script
INTRODUCTION
John Hope Franklin once said and I quote- “We must go beyond textbooks, go out into the
bypaths and untrodden depths of the wilderness and travel and explore and tell the world the
glories of our journey.”
This powerful quotation inspires me so much as an educator because it is true that not all
learning happens inside the four walls of our classroom. Scouting as a learning activity is
also an effective way to teach our young boys and girls different essential life skills.
After our 2 days camp, here we are gathered as one family for our Culmination Program.
And so, please find your comfortable seats, relax and enjoy!
Scouting is an avenue to foster a sense of nationalism. And so, may we all rise as we show
our deep sense of nationalism through the singing of a patriotic song to be led to us by Ms.
Edlyn Crisostomo. Afterwhich, please remain standing as we invoke the presence of the
Lord through a prayer to be led to us by Ms. Rosemarie Sacobo.
III.OPENING REMARKS
Max Eastman once said that a smile is the universal welcome. And so to flash his sweet
smile and to make us feel at home is Mr. Dexter Tapanut, Master Teacher I. Let's welcome
him with a resounding applause!
IV.IMPRESSIONS
Award-winning author J.K. Rowling once said that a good first impression can make
wonders. This afternoon let us listen to some impressions that will serve as our inspiration to
create positive changes in the future. Let us first hear from the representative of the Junior
Scouts ____________. Let's give him/her a big, big hand!
Thank you _________ for your great impressions! Now may we also listen to the
impressions of the Service Scout representative ________. Let's welcome him/her with a
festive round of applause!
V. INTERMISSION NUMBER
Our campers are gifted with unique talents that are worthy of emulation. And so, to give us a
proof to this, may we witness a breath-taking intermission number from the Service Scouts!
Let's give them an enthusiastic round of applause!
VI. COMMITMENT
Thank you Service Scouts for that superb performance! Commitment is a core value that
every scout or camper should uphold and develop. Commitment speaks of responsibility,
courage and sustainability. And so, may we now witness our Service Scouts and Junior
Scouts as they pledge their commitments.
VII. INTERMISSION
Our campers' talents are endless. And so, to break the monotony of this program may we
witness another incredible performance coming from the Junior Scouts. May we also give
them a big, big hand!
Thank you Junior Scouts for sharing your wonderful talents with us!
The essence of this camp is to instil positive values to the campers. And so, to seal this
noble undertaking with some nuggets of wisdom is no other than the brilliant scout director
Ms. Eleanor Pascua. Let's give her a round of applause!
Thank you for the precious thoughts you have imparted to all of us, ma'am! I hope that these
will even motivate us to do better in our future endeavours!
Now, we are down to the most awaited part of our closing program, that is the Awarding of
Camp Awards Certificate of Participations
Before anything else, I would like to call on stage the following key persons to serve as our
congratulatory board Dr. Jovy Grace Crisostomo,Principal 3 of Claveria East Central School
and also our unit head, Mrs. Eleanor Pascua, GSP Camp Director and Mr. Edison Alawag,

We started well and we shall end well as well! And so to formally close this 2-day BSP and
GSP Camp is no other than the very supportive and brilliant principal 3 of CECS and also
our unit head, Dr. Jovy Grace S. Crisostomo. A round of applause, please!
CLOSING SPIEL
Thank you so much ma'am for your inspiring closing remark. I hope that our campers will
become better individuals after this remarkable experience they had.
This has been your humble host, Mrs. Joanne Lahip Ignacio saying "God bless us all and
have a safe trip home!"
