Getting started

• Open up a web browser such as:


– Internet Explorer
– FireFox
– Google Chrome

• Enter the following URL into the address bar:


– www.commerce.wa.gov.au/building-and-energy
Select “Industry information”
Select “Electrical”
Select “Code of Practice for Vegetation worker electrical safety”
Select online assessment
Act now
Select the course
By selecting the course, you will be redirected to a
create account/login page.
Select “Create new account”
Complete all login details
Check for email confirmation

Follow the email link to confirm your account.


Once logged in select “My Courses”
Click the course to enrol
Enrol in the online assessment
Welcome to the course

Step 1:

Step 2: Once you


have passed the
assessment (75% or
15/20), save and print
your certificate.
Doing the test

• You will be given 20 randomly generated questions in


multiple choice format.
• Select the most correct response for each question by
clicking the circle next to your chosen answer.
• Navigate through the pages to access all 20 questions.
• Complete all the questions to the best of your ability.
• Check all questions are attempted.
• Click “Submit” to complete the test.
Review your test

• Once you have submitted


your test the system will
automatically mark your
responses.
• Review your answers and
your result.
• A result of 75% or 15/20 is
required to be successful.
• If you are unsuccessful,
you may resit the test.
Click “Grades” to view your results
