1. Download the Avaya Agent for Desktop installation file & 3 certifications.

 
2. Run ‘Avaya-Agent-For-Desktop’ 
3. Install the Agent for Desktop program 
a. ‘Avaya-Agent-For-Desktop’ 
b. Take all the default options 
c. When it completes installation, make sure the Launch Avaya Agent is checked and click Finish 
4. Agent – Welcome Setup 
a. Select Language, click Next 
b. Agree to the EULA, click Next 
c. Update ‘WebLM License Server Address’:
https://weblm1.dentrix.com:52233/WebLM/LicenseServer 
d. Select Advanced/Standalone, click Next 
e. Click Launch 
5. Avaya Agent for Desktop Configuration 
Once it launches the application, click the “gear” in the bottom, left corner of the login screen to enter
settings. 
a. Change ACM Login Type to “Use Local Configuration” 
b. Change Signaling to “SIP” 
c. Primary SIP Proxy Address to “50.205.195.77” 
d. Server port “5061” 
e. Transport “TLS” 
f. Secondary SIP Proxy Address to: “50.236.70.21” 
g. Server port “5061” 
h. Transport “TLS” 
i. Sip Domain “dentrix.com” 
j. Click “Save” 
6. Avaya Agent for Desktop Configuration 
a. click the “gear” in the bottom, left corner of the login screen to enter settings 
b. In the left menu click “Security” 
c. Choose PPM Secure Mode “HTTPS” 
d. Third party certification “Use local” 
e. In the Certificates pan click the + and upload the three certificates named SMGR.pem,
DigiCertChain2022_1.pem and DigiCertChain2022_2.pem 
f. Click “Save” 
g. Close the Login Screen 
7. Exit Application 
a. Click on the down arrow, next to the Headset Icon and quit the application 
b. Click, Yes you are sure 
Setup 
1. Launch the application again 
2. Click the “gear” icon again, to go to settings. 
a. Make sure you are using “Local Configuration” 
b. Make sure the License server is still what you entered from above

c. Make sure SIP is still selected. 
We need to configure the local SIP client different than the VDI SIP client! 
On the locally installed SIP client (if using VDI solution) 
Placing calls 
1. Launch the application again 
2. Use for Audio set to “My Computer” 
3. Add your Station ID and password  
4. Checkmark “Save Password” 
5. Click Sign In 
6. DO NOT SIGN INTO THE AGENT on your local system
