Relay Outputs

Five digital output alarm contacts, can be set for:

o Gas level (absolute or change in level over an
hour or day)
o Moisture level (absolute or average level over
period)
o Separate service alarm dedicated to
system/sensor faults
o Optional analogue inputs
o Transformer models outputs
Alarms can be set for two different warning levels
caution (Hi) and danger (Hi-Hi). Relays

Internal Data logging

Historical data (default logging rates):

• Short Term: 1 record every 15 minutes for a capacity of 50 days
• Long Term: 4 records a day for a capacity of 3 years and 3 months
• Event History: 3,120 records (alarms, lost of power, etc.)
• Service History: 1,470 records (sensor test, service information)

When memory is full it overwrites the oldest information ( first in / first out )

Expandable Monitoring with Hydran M2-X

➢ Using external sensors - can bring in either analog and/or digital signals to monitor
other transformer parameters – Top Oil temp, Load Current, etc., (max 4 signals)
➢ Can also execute transformer models such as:

•Winding Temp Hot Spot

•Insulation Aging
•Moisture in Barriers, Moisture in Winding Insulation,
Bubbling Margin
•Cooling Efficiency
•Tap Changer Over heating, Tap Changer position
•Dynamic Loading
