Lesson 1- Microsoft Publisher Tour

 Know the types of documents that can be created


 Understand the difference between Microsoft Word
 Be able to navigate Microsoft Publisher

Lesson 2- Create a Calendar

 Create a publication from a template


 Remove elements
 Add clip art
 Use handles resize and rotate objects
 Adjust color schemes
 Add text boxes

Lesson 3- Create a Bookmark

 Create a publication from a blank, custom page size


 Use color gradients
 Page backgrounds
 Text rotation and formatting

Then they'll move on to the Creating Publications unit, where they'll tackle these
lessons:

Lesson 1- Design a Birthday Card


 Design a four-fold publication
 Use page navigation for multi-page publications
 Insert, rotate, format and flip WordArt
 Insert, rotate, format and flip clip art
 Arrange objects (Send Backwards)
 Text wrapping

Lesson 2- Build a Poster

 Page Guides and Grids


 Add and format shapes
 Shape grouping
