1. Attention of all the District Collectors is invited to the reference cited


above and it is informed that, during the During the Dharani committee meeting
with the Hon’ble Chief Minister and Hon’ble Minister for Revenue on 24th
February 2024, detailed discussions were held on the pending applications in
Dharani portal.
2. Accordingly, the Dharani Committee has made the following suggestions
as an immediate measure, to dispose the pending Dharani applications vide
reference 2nd cited, detailed guidelines are issued for disposal of Dharani
applications and the same are communicated to all the District Collectors for
compliance.
3. Further a Special Drive Program shall be organised from March 1st to
March 9th, 2024, at Tahsildar offices exclusively to resolve the pending Dharani
applications.
4. The District Collector shall form 2-3 teams in every Tahsildar office which
will be headed by Tahsildar / Deputy Tahsildar / Revenue Inspector to scrutinise
the pending applications, undertake field inspection and prepare reports. The
teams shall consist of revenue functionaries available in the Tahsildar office,
Paralegals and Community Surveyors working in DRDAs, Agriculture Extension
Officers and Panchayat Secretaries. Necessary training shall be given to the
teams.
5. The pending applications shall be distributed to the teams constituted
either Module wise or Village wise by the Tahsildar
6. The District Collector shall provide access to pending applications and the
documents submitted along with those applications to the Tahsildar office
Teams. They should also be given a copy of the reports on the pending
applications, if any.
7. Team leads should ensure that information is given to applicants through
village level officers and/or WhatsApp/phone/SMS.
8. The teams shall verify the applications and the documents submitted
along with those applications. They also should verify land records – Setwar.
Khasra Pahani, Sessala Pahani, old pahanies, 1B Register and Dharani. They
shall also verify assignment / inam / PoT registers, Bhoodhan/Wakf/Endowment
lands details in the required cases.
