Step-by-Step Procedure for Renewing Criminologists to Obtain Certificate of Good


Standing (COGS)

Step 1: Make Payments for COGS, Annual Dues, and Membership

2.1. Pay via the official PCAP bank account. Keep your deposit slips.
Bank: Metrobank
Account Name: Professional Criminologists Association of the Philippines,

2.2. Prescribed Fees:
• Membership or Renewal: 500 pesos
• Annual Dues: 900 pesos (300 pesos per year)
• Certificate of Good Standing (COGS): 1,000 pesos
• ID: 200 pesos
• Mailing fee: 200 pesos
• Lifetime Members exempted from membership renewal only.
• Senior Citizen and individuals with disabilities eligible for discounts.

Step 2: Obtain Endorsement from PCAP Chapter

Step 3: Provide Google Form Link

3.1. After securing the PCAP Chapter Endorsement, access the Google Form link:

3.2. Complete the issuance request by filling out the Google Form with accurate
information.
3.3. Ensure all required fields are filled before proceeding. Prepare the following
documents for verification:
• PRC Identification Card - PIC (Current or Expired)
• PRC Certificate of Registration – COR (execute Affidavit of Undertaking
if not yet claimed with PRC)
• Updated PCAP Membership and ID
• Official PCAP Receipt for Annual Dues payment

• Proof of payment for COGS
• Passport Size Picture with white background
• Endorsement Letter from the local PCAP CAR Chapter

3.4. Attach the documents within the Google Form during submission.
3.5. Ensure clarity, legibility, and specified formats for seamless review.
3.6. The endorsement from PCAP-CAR Chapter will be attached to the Google
Form by the applicant.

Step 4: PCAP National Secretariat Verification

4.1. Complete the Google Form with accurate information and attach required
documents.
4.2. PCAP national secretariat checks and validates all attachments for
completeness and accuracy.
4.3. Notify the renewing Criminologist of any discrepancies for correction.

Step 5: Issuance of COGS

5.1. Upon successful verification, PCAP national secretariat proceeds with COGS
issuance.
5.2. COGS is available for download or sent through the preferred mode of
delivery.

Note: It is advised to initiate the COGS renewal process at least 1 month before the PIC/
PRC ID expiry.
