Acid

Acids are substances that taste sour and are corrosive in nature.
Acidic
An acidic corrosive substance turns a blue litmus paper to red.

Base
Substance like these which are bitter in taste and feel soapy on touch are known as bases.

Basic
Basic corrosive substance turns red litmus to blue.

Indicator
Indicators are substances that are used to test whether a substance is acidic or basic are
neutral in nature.

Neutral
Substances which are neither acidic nor basic are called neutral.

Neutralisation
Neutralisation is a chemical reaction where an acid and a base react with each other
quantitatively.

Salt
A salt is formed when an acid and a base react.
