INSTALLING THE BIGIPEdgeClient SOFTWARE
Please download the file ‘BIGIPEdgeClient.rar’ from the below links and extract the file using Winrar :
After Clicking on Install, the Installation Process will start, as captured in the below screenshot.

The Installation will finish in few minutes and the Finish screen will come in front as shown in the
below screenshot. Click “Finish”.

CONFIGURING THE BIGIPEdgeClient SOFTWARE
After Double clicking on ‘Big IP Edge Client’ icon and a promt screen will appear asking for server
address, as shown in below Screenshot.

After clicking on Next, a Security Alert will appear on screen, click on yes to proceed, As shown in the
below screenshot.
After clicking ‘Yes’, Logon screen will appear, Please enter the Credentials provided in the mail and
click on Logon Button.
Username will be the official email e.g [email protected]. If the length of the email ID is
more than 31 characters, the Username will be the email ID without “@epfindia.gov.in” . e.g if the
email ID is - [email protected] (32 characters). The Username will be
“ghklpoiuytrewqas”.
The password to be entered here (First time) is the default password forwarded to you by email.

After clicking on Logon Button, A prompt will appear on screen asking for change of password,
please enter new password and click on Logon button.
After clicking on Logon button, a Security Alert will come, please Press Yes to proceed , as shown in
the below Screenshot.
After Clicking Yes, the initialization process completes and the f5 window will minimize. Now you
are Successfully connected to your network.
After changing the password, whenever the user wants to connect to VPN, he/she has to use the
new password.
Users are advised to enter password carefully as after three unsuccessful attempts , the
VPN account will be locked.
AFTER COMPLETING THIS ACTIVITY, YOUR ONE TIME ACTIVITY FOR INSTALLATION OF VPN IS
OVER.

Steps to get BIG IP VPN on “Windows Taskbar” for easy access.
Step 1- Search “BiG-IP Edge Client’ in window search bar
2. You will see BiG- IP at top of search menu. Right Click on it. A dialog box will open
after right clicking on BiG IP Edge Client and you will see a list. Click on Pin to taskbar.
A dialog box will appear. Click on “Pin to taskbar”.

3. After Clcking on Pin to taskbar. “BiG IP Edge client” will be visible on taskbar (Look
at the bottom bar of the computer screen) and you will easily access Big IP by clicking
on it.

After clicking “Connect” , it will ask for Username and Password. Enter the correct
Username and Password and click “Logon”.
NOTE: Users are advised to enter password carefully as after three unsuccessful attempts,
the VPN account will be locked.
You will be connected to VPN and you are ready to access eOFFICE.

ACCESSING eOFFICE
IMPORTANT: Before attempting to access eOFFICE, check whether VPN is connected
or not by clicking the “BiG IP Edge Client” icon from taskbar. If not connected, please
connect by entering correct Usename and Password. Users are advised to enter
password carefully as after three unsuccessful attempts , the VPN account will be locked.
If your VPN is connected in other devices , please also diconnect before attempting
login in a different device.

OR go to www.epfindia.gov.in >> EPFO corner >> For Office use >> E Office Login
After entering the URL on the address bar of the browser (Please use MOZILLA
BROWSER ) and pressing ENTER Key, the following Parichay Login page will appear.

After entring your your User Name and Password and clicking next, the following screen will appear.
The following screen will appear. Enter the OTP received on your mobile number linked with your
epfindia email ID. Click ‘NEXT”.

TROUBLESHOOTING COMMON PROBLEM WHILE INSTALLING BIG IP
EGDE CLIENT (VPN)
SOLUTION:
OPTION-1:
Go TO
control panel
Then click on
Device manager

then a list will appear
After uninstalling
right click on
Network adapter
list will be updated and you will get your uninstalled items back

NOTE 1: Please make sure that you are having good Internet speed . Sometimes initializing error
occurs due to slow internet speed.

2. ERROR MESSAGE: Your session could not be established , The session reference number is ………
Access was denied by the access policy.
The above error happens when the user tries to access VPN by entering wrong Username and
password.
SOLUTION: Please start again by entering correct Username and Password. Username will be the
official email e.g [email protected]. If the length of the email ID is more than 31
characters, the Username will be the email ID withour “@epfindia.gov.in” . e.g if the email ID is -
[email protected] (32 characters). The Username will be “ghklpoiuytrewqas”.
The password to be entered here (First time) is the default password forwarded to you by email.
NOTE 1: Users are advised to enter password carefully as after three unsuccessful attempts
the VPN account will be locked.
NOTE 2: If you have forgotten the password , please write a mail to [email protected] for
resetting the password. Please mention your mobile number and attach a screenshot of the error.

3. OTHER ISSUES INCLUDING THE ABOVE AT SL NO 1 AND
SOLUTION: Install in phone/tablet/other devices and get connected and access eOFFICE one time.
Uninstall BIG IP EDGE CLIENT from the PC/Laptop in which error is coming.
