The earliest confirmed existence of the trojan is on the site "youdonotknowwhoiam.org"[2] dating back to
November 2002 according to the Wayback Machine. An earlier version of the site embedded "youdont.swf"[3].

A remix of the Flash animation was posted onto YouTube by oniku1234 on September 29th, 2006 . The trojan [5] images on this wiki
gained more attraction when Joel, who is apart of the Vinesauce streaming group, mentioned the site on one of
his streams. < >

Additionally, the trojan checked if the browser was Internet Explorer and checked if the version was greater than
or equal to 4. If both conditions were met, it would bookmark the page as "Idiot!". Some variants use the Flash List of Microsoft Windows
versions
animation to open pop-ups.
The trojan can easily be removed by opening Task Manager (via the search bar or Win+R via typing "taskmgr.exe")
and terminating or killing the proccess. Additionally, you can right click the Flash file and uncheck Play if the Windows 11
variant uses Flash to open popups.
are "No, I'm not.", "I don't know =[" and "Yes, I am."
Clicking any of the options results in a pop up saying "Oh.. I think you are an idiot. XD" followed by multiple
popups with the same GIF. Audio of the remix by oniku1234 also plays. Discussions Activity

Last Measure is a variant of Offiz made by the trolling group GNAA made in 2003, which instead spams shock
images and has a stock sound effect of a man screaming that they were looking at pornographic content. In future
version, it would get the user's clipboard data. It would also check if the victim's operating system was macOS.
Many versions exist such as "Last Measure Live" and "Last Measure Unified-X"[8]. The variant always had active
development until 2010.
Soft Measure
Soft Measure is a variant of Last Measure which would have the same exact scripts, but the shock images are
replaced with stuffed animals, along with an ASCII art of a teddy bear with a sound effect of a man saying "Hey,
with American Online, I can just point, and click!" instead of the previous sound effect[9].
Reath
Reath is a variant of Offiz which would have the same exact scripts, animated the title of the page, blocked inspect
element and made the GIF on the page heavier. The variant was created on May 30th, 2020.
Version 1.1
Version 1.1, the remake made by Enderman introduced new developments such as it embedding a .mp4 and .mp3
files instead of a .swf file, a mute/unmute button, a link to the Flash version and another link to a YouTube video
about the trojan itself. It was made to comply with strict browser policies. A comment was also made near the
bookmark function:
window.onload = function () {
flagRun = 1;
playBall();
bookmark(); // Internet Explorer only (what a piece of shit)
return true;
}
It would print the message "TimeUpdate invoked." in the browser console. Better code was also introduced.
Version 1.4
Version 1.4 fixed "addEventListener" and beautified the code. It also introduced a
link to the safe version and replaced the .mp4 file with a flashing SVG featuring
the same content, however the .mp3 still stayed. Most parts of the code were
Trivia
The trojan shares functions with another trojan "Last Measure", which would instead spam shock images
made in the same year.
Albino Blacksheep hosts both a harmless version and a now-deleted harmful version.
The trojan does not work on mobile operating systems[12][13] and console web browsers[14]. However, the
only functions that work is opening windows.
The most well known mirror is .org which was hosted by "The ADR and Jazzy" according to the meta tags.
However, in 2013, the virus was removed[citation needed].
Various hoaxes exist, such as the virus supposedly coming back working on mobile operating systems and
the virus supposedly being able to look at emails and the camera roll according to TikTok[15]. Many users
also claimed that it would delete every file from the victim's computer and cause unrepairable damage.
Many opinions have been spreading throughout the internet that the virus came from an adult website[16].
The site was spread through dares, chain letters and forums[16].
Some variants of the trojan were programmed to activate upon startup.
