About E-YANTRA Club

E-YANTRA club is developed to create the next generation of embedded
systems engineers with a practical outlook to help and provide practical solutions to some of the real
world problems. Students are made to expose of designing their own robotics application. A robot is
a combination of controller, intelligence, sensors and communication. Students are thought about
various controllers (AVR, Arduino, 8051 ) and the way to program the controller.(Embedded C).

Students of e-YANTRA club are made to participate in e-YRC(E-YANTRA Robotics

Competition) and e-YIC (E-YANTRA Idea completion). These competitions are organized by IIT
Bombay annually. They are also encouraged to participate in similar events.

Objectives of E-YANTRA Club

 To provides a platform for innovative projects ideas through e-Yantra laboratory.
 To give awareness on the current trends of research in robotics.
 To Learn and use sophisticated software and hardware
 To Build and compete with a robot of their own design
 To Compete and cooperate in robots alliances and tournaments

Benefits to Students

 Robots have always been a captivating piece of technology, programmable to follow

instructions as directed. There is nothing quite as fun and educational as building one’s own
robot and setting it through the paces of a race, an activity or a challenge. This cultivates
outdoor knowledge to students apart from class room education.
 The Club will provide workspace, tools, and guidance to interested students apart from taking
up specific projects.
 The Club provides an opportunity to participate in national or international level
competitions.

Outcome of e-Yantra Club
