2) Ramappa Temple

President of India lays the Foundation Stone for the Development of Pilgrimage Infrastructure
at Ramappa Temple.
3) Dhanu Yatra

The ‘Dhanu Yatra’ festival began after a gap of two years, in Bargarh at the Odisha.
4) Jupiter Icy Moons Explorer

The European Space Agency has announced that the Jupiter Icy Moons Explorer (Juice)
mission will be celebrated at an event in Toulouse, France, on 20 January next year.
5) Delimitation Commission

Recently, the Election Commission of India said that it has begun the process of delimitation of
Assembly and Parliamentary constituencies in Assam.
6) Integrated Road Accident Database (iRAD) system

Recently, the Ministry of Road Transport &Highways (MoRTH) released the Annual report
‘Road accidents in India 2021’
7) G20 Digital Innovation Alliance (G20-DIA)

Recently, the Minister for Electronics & Information Technology launched G20-DIA as a part
of India's G20 presidency.
8) City Finance Rankings, 2022

Recently, the Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs launched this City Finance Rankings, 2022
to evaluate, recognize and reward India’s Urban Local Bodies.
9) Amrit Bharat Station scheme

Ministry of Railways has recently formulated a new policy for modernization of stations named
“Amrit Bharat Station” scheme.

Recently, new research clarifies that Sepsis is one of the most expensive medical conditions in
the world, and can lead to cell death.

State-owned power generation company NTPC has recently partnered with Tecnimont to
explore green methanol production at a commercial scale.

21) Asian Giant Tortoise
Ten captive-bred Asian Giant Tortoise (Manouria emys) juveniles were released into a
protected area of Nagaland’s Intanki National Park.
22) UNESCO World Heritage Sites

Recently, Six sites have been added to India’s tentative list of UNESCO world heritage sites.

Recently, the ARNALA ship is inducted into the Indian Navy.


24) Bullock’s Heart Tree

A Research intern at the International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics
(ICRISAT) recently won the prize for developing a cost-effective bio-insecticide from the
leaves of bullock’s heart tree (Annona reticulata), popularly known as Ramphal.
25) SWOT (Surface Water and Ocean Topography)

Recently, NASA has launched a satellite to conduct a comprehensive study of Oceans, rivers
and Lakes around the world.
