2D -Drafting Commands

UNITS - Selects coordinate and angle display formats and precision.

LIMITS - Changes the imaginary boundaries of the drawing, and controls

whether drawing can be made outside of the boundaries.
(Limit checking can be either turned ON or OFF; It controls if it would be
allowed to draw outside the limits or not.

ORTHOMODE (F8) - Constrains cursor movement to the horizontal or vertical

direction.

POLAR TRACKING (F10) - Polar tracking restricts cursor movement to specified

angles. PolarSnap restricts cursor movement to specified increments along a
polar angle.

LINE(L) - Draws Straight lines.

Creates straight line segments.
Create a series of contiguous line segments. Each segment is a line
object that can be edited separately.

POLYLINE(PLINE) - Draws a 2D polyline, which are connected line or arc

segments with user-determined width and taper. It is a connected sequence of
segments created as a single planar object.

CIRCLE – Center, Radius – Creates a circle using a centre point

and radius.
Center, Diameter - Creates a circle using a
centre point and radius.
2-Point - Creates a circle using two endpoints of the
diameter.
3-Point – Creates a circle using three points on the
circumference.

RECTANGLE – Creates a rectangular polyline

MOVE(M) - Moves designated entities to another location.
Moves objects a specified distance in a specified direction.

ROTATE - Rotates existing objects parallel to the current UCS.

COPY(CP) - Draws a copy of selected objects using two methods -- "base point"
method, or "displacement" method.
M Allows multiple copies to be made of an object.

MIRROR - Reflects designated entities about a user-specified axis.

STRETCH - Allows moving a portion of a drawing while retaining their

connections to other parts of the drawing. You cannot stretch Blocks, Hatch
patterns, or Text entities, however.

SCALE - Alters the size of existing objects

R Resizes with respect to a reference size

OFFSET - Creates a new line, polyline arc or circle parallel to the entity and at a
specified distance from it.
<number> specifies offset distance
T "Through" allows specification of a point through which the offset line,
polyline, arc or circle is to pass.

BREAK - Erases part of a line, arc or circle, or splits it into two lines or arcs.

Break at a Point – Breaks the selected object at a single point.

Break – Break the selected object between two points.

FILLET - Constructs an arc of specified radius between two lines, arcs, circles, or
will create arcs of the specified radius at the vertices of a polyline. Radius of
the arc to be constructed may be set to 0, which will make a sharp corner.

CHAMFER - Creates a chamfer (a angled line connection) at the intersection of

two lines.

BLENDCURVE – Joins two shapes smoothly.

ARRAY - Makes multiple copies of selected objects in a rectangular (parallel
with the snap rotation) or circular pattern.
Creates copies of objects arranged in a pattern.
You can create copies of objects in a regularly spaced rectangular, polar, or
path array.

RECTANGULAR(ARRAYRECT)- Distributes copies of the selected object

into any combination of rows, columns, and levels
POLAR(ARRAYPOLAR) Evenly distributes copies of the object in a
circular pattern around a center point or axis of rotation
PATH (ARRAYPATH) Evenly distributes object copies along a path or a
portion of a path.

DIMENSION (DIM) – Creates multiple types of dimensions within a single

command session.
You can create horizontal, vertical, aligned, and radial dimensions with the DIM
command. The type of dimension depends on the object that you select and
the direction that you drag the dimension line.

EXTEND – Extends objects to meet the edges of other objects.

TRIM - Trims objects to meet the edges of other objects.

JOIN – Join similar objects to form a single, unbroken object.

EXPLODE – Breaks a compound object into its component objects.

ARC – Creates an arc using three points.

3D - Basics Commands

REVOLVE – Creates a 3D solid surface by sweeping a 2D or 3D curve around an

axis.

SWEEP – Creates a 3D surface or solid by sweeping a 2D or 3D curve along a

path.

LOFT – Creates a 3D solid or surfacein the space between several cross

sections.

BOX – Creates a 3D solid box.

CYLINDER – Creates a 3D solid cylinder.

CONE – Creates a 3D solid cone.

3DORBIT - Rotates the view in 3Dspace, but constraintedto horizontal and

vertical space only.

EXTRUDE – Creates a 3D solid or surface by extruding a 2D or 3D curve.

UNION - Combines two or more 3D solids, surfaces, or 2D regions into a single,

composite 3D solid, surface, or region.

SUBTRACT - Creates as a new object by subtracting one overlapping region or

3D solid from another.

INTERSECT - Creates a 3D solid, surface, or 2D region from overlapping solids,

surfaces, or regions.

PRESSPULL - Dynamically modifies objects by extrusion and offset.

3D Gizmo - 3D gizmos help you move, rotate, or scale a set of objects along a
3D axis or plane.
