TYPICAL DESIGN
- OPEN DRIP PROOF (IP23/ODP): External Air is used to cool the
motor. No protection, normally used for indoor, non-hazardous
and non corrosive applications
- TOTALLY ENCLOSED FAN COOLED (IP55/TEFC): complete
protection from the atmosphere. A fan provides, in a separate
circuit, cooling air circulation through an “Air to Air” heat
exchanger
- TOTALLY ENCLOSED WATER COOLED (IP55/TEWC): complete
protection from the atmosphere. The motor is cooled by water
circulating in a separate circuit including an “Air to Water” heat
exchanger
