From the very first day, the internship was structured to provide a comprehensive
understanding of the AMTDC and its workings. Dr V Sivaraman Sir’s ( Designation)
Introduction class on the first day was particularly insightful. He gave a walk through into
the centre’s operations and projects. His passion and expertise set an encouraging &
positive tone for the internship.
Meeting and interacting with fellow interns from different specialization on various
projects provided a collaborative environment that was both stimulating and educational
Through this project, I was amazed to discover, that complex concepts become much
more comprehensible when visualized mathematically. This approach, which contrasts
sharply with traditional college learning, demonstrated that visualization can significantly
enhance understanding. Furthermore, I learned the importance of creating complex
programs from scratch, without relying heavily on extensive public libraries. This
experience instilled in me a deeper appreciation for foundational programming skills and
problem-solving techniques.
KEY TAKE-AWAYS
Visualization of Concepts: I discovered that visualizing complex mathematical and
physical concepts makes them more accessible and easier to understand.
Fundamental Programming: Building programs from the ground up was essential for
thoroughly understanding underlying principles. This experience made me
understand the importance of writing efficient, clean code and solving problems
methodically, without relying heavily on external libraries.
This internship expanded my horizons far beyond what I could have imagined. I gained
a deep understanding of how ML, and automation integrate with manufacturing
processes. This provided invaluable insights into real-world applications of the Industry
4.0 technologies that are transforming the manufacturing sector, especially digital twin
technology, and the security aspects of manufacturing machineries.
During my internship i referred to various videos and PDFs especially about the Digital
twin Technology in manufacturing sector which is used during the simulation and
operational phase of a product
I am sharing these reference videos, which may be useful to any other interns like me
in future,

The experiences and insights gained during my time at AMTDC have profoundly
shaped my learning & career aspirations. I am eager to stay connected and continue
contributing to the ongoing projects of the centre. I confidently look forward to applying
what I've learned to make meaningful contributions in the future.
