Subject: Introduction of eBooks for PG to Class 8

Dear Parents/Guardians,

We are thrilled to announce that The City School is launching a new e-


learning programme to enhance our students' learning experience through
cutting-edge technology. This transition reflects modern educational
standards and brings numerous benefits for both students and teachers.

The programme features:

 EBooks covering core subjects such as English, Math, and Science (PG
to Class 8)

 A user-friendly Learning Management System (LMS), interactive


videos, and educational apps, creating a safe and engaging digital
learning environment.

Key highlights of the programme are:

 Offline Access to eBooks: Students can access their eBooks offline


to avoid excessive internet usage during school hours.

 BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) Model: Students are required to


bring their own devices (laptops, tablets) to access eBooks in class.

Device Specifications

You can check if your current devices meet these requirements; otherwise,
please ensure you get a device that aligns with the following minimum
system requirements.

Tablet :
1. 11’’ to 13’’ screen size (preferred 13’’ screen size)
2. Quad-core 3.0 GHz processor
3. Stable graphics (least impact on eyes)
4. 6 GB to 8 GB RAM
5. 64 GB storage
6. Battery timing (minimum 2 to 3hrs with full charge).

Laptop:

1. 15” to 17” screen size


2. Corei5 (minimum 8th Generation)
3. Built-in Graphics card
4. 8 GB RAM (with extendable option)
5. 128GB SSD with 500 GB H.D.D
6. Battery timing (minimum 2 to 3hrs with full charge).

All students are required to comply with the specified requirements.


Purchasing of eBooks:

 Visit www.citizenapparel.pk
 Navigate to the Study Pack dropdown menu and select the eBook tab.
 Make sure you choose your campus carefully to order the study pack
(selecting the correct campus is crucial)
 Upon receiving the study pack, you'll get a voucher for eBook access
covering core subjects such as English, Sciences, and Math.
 Take the voucher to your school head to receive your username ID and
password.
 Scan the barcode on the voucher to watch the eBook demo video
 Visit www.oxfordpress.com
 Log in using the ID and password provided by your school.
 Download and access the eBooks from the website.
