13. Why are you going to study abroad not in India?
Compared with India, UK has both the Practical as well as theoretical approach whereas in India It is mostly theoretically based. Also, the course materials, the learning infrastructures are of a much higher standard in the UK than in India. Most importantly, in the UK I would get an international degree and global exposure which is not possible in India. The Indian education system is examination-oriented and courses are not industry-oriented. This has further good and bad points, but that is how Indian universities work. Libraries are poorly maintained and one has to do exams to qualify to enter a good institute. The horizons remain limited and the focus is to please the teachers. 14. Where are you going to study? Greenwich University and UWE Bristol University all offer BA accounting and finance programmes with modules that are completely different from my field of interest, as I intend to pursue a BSc in accounting and finance. Greenwich University and UWE Bristol University do not offer my selected study modules.
