Objectives

A. Classroom Routine

B. Review/Recall
Conduct a brief review of the previous lesson on personal identity and its importance in personal
development.
C. Motivation
Activity: Self-Concept Inventory (5 minutes)
Students will rate various aspects of their self-concept on a scale from 0 (very weak) to 4
(very strong). Examples include statements like "I am proud of my physical figure" and
"I can express my ideas in writing without difficulty."
D. Activity Proper
1. Discussion (20 minutes)
Discuss the concepts of self-concept, including actual self vs. ideal self.
Facilitate a group discussion on how understanding oneself can lead to better personal
development.
2. Group Activity (15 minutes)
In small groups, students will share their self-concept inventories and discuss their
strengths and weaknesses.
Each group will create a list of strategies to enhance strengths and address weaknesses.
3. Personal Development Plan (15 minutes)
Students will individually develop a personal development plan based on their self-
assessment.
The plan should include:
Two strengths they want to enhance.
Two weaknesses they aim to improve.
Specific actions they will take to achieve these goals.
E. Generalization (5 minutes)
Summarize the key points discussed during the lesson, emphasizing the importance of self-
awareness in personal development.
IV. Assessment
Students will submit their completed personal development plans for evaluation.
Participation in group discussions will also be assessed.
V. Remarks
Encourage students to reflect on their progress regularly and adjust their plans as necessary.
VI. Mastery Level
Aim for at least 75% of students to demonstrate understanding by successfully completing their
personal development plans.
VII. Instructional Decision
