Prerequisite :OT500, NT501, NT/OT517. This course has OT Survey, NT Survey, and
Interpreting the Bible

I. COURSE DESCRIPTION

This course will work with the biblical metanarrative as the structure of biblical theology and with the identity of God as the centre of biblical theology. It will cover the major
topics of biblical theology: God, creation, Jesus as God incarnate, the Gospel of the kingdom of God, the cross, the resurrection, soteriology, the Holy Spirit, the church and the
last things. Although the treatment of each will necessarily be brief, the emphasis will be on bringing together the contributions of various different parts of the Bible to each
topic.

II. COURSE OUTCOME


Upon the successful completion of this course, students should be able to…
1. Attained an overview of the shape and characteristics of biblical theology,
2. Able to explain how the major theological themes of the Bible relate to the biblical metanarrative
3. Appreciate the theological unity of the two testaments,

Student's individual grades are computed in the following manner

Prelim Grade, P.G=1/2 (CS+PE)

Midterm Grade, M.G=1/3 (PG+CS-ME)

Final Grade, F.G=1/3(MGCS+FE)

Where: PE = Prelim Grade

ME = Midterm Grade

FE =Final Grade

CS = Class Standing (60% Quizzes) + 40% (Homework, seatwork,

Class recitation, attendance and any other course projects)

Grading system : Averaging.
