1. Super Bulky/ Super Chunky plush yarn


• In two colours
- I use Himilaya Dolphin Baby or James C Brett Flutterby Chunky
- Another similar yarn is Hobbii Baby Snuggle Solid

2. US size G/ 4.25mm or 4.5mm crochet hook


3. Yarn needle
4. Stitch markers
5. Polyester lling
6. 9mm safety eyes

ABBREVIATIONS & STITCHES


• MR: Magic ring
• St(s): Stitch(es)
• SC: Single crochet
• Sl st: Slip stitch
• Inc: Increase (Stitch 2 SC into the stitch)
• Dec: SC decrease using the invisible method
• (…) x n: Repeat instructions in brackets n times

• Please note: the Youtube video is misnumbered (missing round 19), but all the
instructions are still correct and as per this pattern.
• This pattern is written using US crochet terms
• A stitch marker at the start/ end of each round or row can help keep track of
stitches
• The size of the nished piece can vary depending on the yarn and tension:
• Left dinosaur - using Himalaya Dolphin Baby - measures at 20cm (8 inch) tall
• Right dinosaur - using James C Brett Flutterby Chunky - measures at 24cm
(9inch) tall

ASSEMBLY

- Sew the arms 2 or 3 rounds down from the neck, in


line with the eyes. Stu before reaching the end.
- Sew the legs at the bottom of the body, slightly
inwards from the arms. Stu before reaching the
end.
- Sew the tail at the back of the body, making sure
the top of the tail goes quite high up the back to
keep its shape.
- Sew the spikes on to the dinosaur:
• 1 on top of the head
• 2 more on the back of the head
• 1 on the body
• 1 on the tail
