Job Description
Role Purpose:
We are hiring for the role of Software Engineer. This is an Individual Contributor role
reporting into the Senior Engineering Manager.
In your role, you'll be instrumental in advancing our mission by delivering on the end-to-
end application,functionality and features as per the project requirements and priorities.
You will also be entrusted with ensuring that every feature and functionality of the
application is designed, developed, and integrated according to the specified goals and
timeline.

The responsibilities we entrust you with:


 Understand the design and project architecture and perform coding and unit testing
in accordance with the design and architecture
 Understand the issues being reported, analyse the logs and resolve the technical
issues through debugging and root cause analysis.
 Analyse the trends in issues being reported and troubleshoot issues to determine
depth of issues and severity, investigate potential workarounds and take required
actions as per defined SLAs
 Work with testing team to review test cases, explore opportunities for automation
 Document code consistently, analysis findings and benchmark performance as per
defined standards
 Provide support in the maintenance of test automation scripts and enhancing
existing automation scripts to cover the new functionalities.
What matters in this role:
Years of work experience:
0-2 years of experience in software development, including internships.
Functional Competence:
Experience with Web Services: Consuming or creating web services using REST, MQTT, or
Web Sockets.
Containerization: Working knowledge of Docker, Rocket, and container orchestrators
like Kubernetes and Docker Swarm.
Cloud Infrastructure: Experience with cloud services and resources in AWS, Azure,
and/or GCP.
Programming and Design: Strong understanding of SOA, object-oriented programming,
design patterns, and multi-threaded application development.
Object-Oriented Programming (OOP): Understanding of basic concepts such as
encapsulation, inheritance, and polymorphism. Ability to implement simple class
structures and relationships.
Data Structures (DS) & Algorithms: Familiarity with fundamental data structures like
arrays, linked lists, stacks, queues, and basic operations (insertion, deletion, traversal).
Source Code Management: Proficiency in Git or similar distributed SCM tools.
