In the options menu - Keyboard/Mouse Selection, enable the Console of the
developers (Allow Developers Console).

To open the console in the Left 4 Dead shortcut, right-click, properties and the
destination directory that should be like this by default "C:\Program Files\Left 4"
Deadleft4dead.exe" would change to "C:Program FilesLeft 4
Deadleft4dead.exe" -console with a space between .exe" and -console .good luck =D
To open the console press [º] and then to enable cheat mode enter Sv_Cheats
1 and press ENTER.
Finally, open the console again, enter the cheat you want and press Enter to
activate it.
