About Tynker

What is Tynker?
Tynker is an eco-friendly application/website where children can learn the
basics of programming and create their own games.
Home Page

Open https://www.tynker.com/ in the web browser. Below screen will be shown. Click on SIGN IN
Sign in

Choose the Student category


Sign in

Enter your username and password given to you by the teacher and click on enter.
Dashboard

Once sign in, Dashboard of the Tynker will be shown


Create Project

Click on Create (left side panel) and Create a New Project


Create Project

Click on Blank Project

Delete Code

To delete the code, select it and slide to the left side


Block Search

Search for the required blocks/code in search box


Help

To know about the block, click on Help and search for the command
Full Screen

To view the animation in full screen, click on the last grid


Play & Stop

Play and Stop the animation using the button


Actor Position

To know the position (x and y coordinates) of the actor, click the actor or
click on first grid. Also, we can scale(resize) the actor.
Actor Properties

To know the costumes of the actor click on properties of the actor


Stage Properties

To add background, click the properties of the stage


Stage Background

Choose any background of the available categories


Delete Actor

To delete the actor, click on of the actor and choose the delete option
Delete Actor

Please confirm (yes) to delete the actor


Add Actor

Click on Add Actor and Choose Media Library to select from the available actors and also
we can create the new actor
Add Actor

Choose any actor from the available categories


Add Actor

Selected actor will be shown on the Stage


Save

Rename the project and save


Projects & Sign Out

Created projects will be available in My Projects and can edit/publish at any time and
also sign out is available in the same screen.
