Parameter
Presentation: Change from BSC-BTS-CELL-TRX to each parameter listed one by one, but with more powerful filter function Parameter Name: 1 Optimize parameter name,2 Change the type of board naming to simplify configuration , 3 Delete the unit information from parameter name to make more clear, for example: "Flex Abis Prior Choose Abis Load Threshold(%)"->"Flex Abis Prior Choose Load Thred Parameter Unit: Unified to national Unit, such as, Change the unit of parameter "Diesel Max Output Power" from "KVA" to "W" Parameter Meaning: Re-organize and simply the description of parameter to make more easily understood Default Value and Range: some changes because of specification promotion, such as Cell ID parameter Parameters Added, for example, parameter link bear type of MTP3lnk to distinguish detail link bear type (MTP2 or SAAL) Parameters Deleted, for example, parameter communication mask of table fan attribute is deleted because the fan configuration algorithm is optimized and the parameter will be no longer used

Changes in MML & Parameters

MML
Changes in format and style: add a prefix G to RNP & RNO related MMLs, for example, ADD CELL in BSS8.0 is changed to ADD GCELL in BSS9.0 Changes in definition, some MMLs are re-designed, for example, RNP & RNO data and BTS physical device data are added together with MML ADD BTS, ADD CELL, ADD TRX in BSS8.0, but RNP & RNO data and BTS physical device data can be configured apart with a series of MMLs, such as: ADD BTS, ADD BTSTRXCARD, ADD GCELL, ADD GTRX, ADD CELLBIND2BTS, ADD TRXBIND2PHYBRD. This will also result in difference in configuration steps and configuration flexibility. MML deleted: for example, MOV BTS in BSS8.0 is deleted in BSS9.0 because it can be replaced by another MML MOD BTSCONNECT MML added: for example, CHK BTS is added to verify specified BTS data in advance if it is not activated Changes in command groups which MML belong to: for example, command group of STR BTSLOG2OMU are changed from "Advanced BTS Maintenance in BSS8.0 to BTS Management. This will also lead to changes in user right after upgrading BSS8.0 to BSS9.0 except administrators. The possible situation are listed below: No change in user right, such as administrator user Enhancement in user right, such as user group from users to operators Decline in user right, such as user group from operators to users If user group is custom, then the user group need to be re-configured after upgrading
