freakier friday isn't even doing anything groundbreaking - the opposite, in fact - but the fact that it masters the like. "extremely sincere early 2000's feel-good comedy" formula as well as it does is something i'm still thinking about. not a whiff of corporate nostalgia bait in that thing. everyone involved truly wanted to be there. would NOT have expected it from this of all movies but it made my week.
