I live for a feminine, emotional Severus Snape. I love that he's the most feminine masculine man ever. I love that he cries when no one is looking. I love that he is probably the most self-sufficient person on earth because he knows no one else cares about him, but he secretly longs to be cared for. I love how he doesn't know how to live without pushing others away, how he thinks people are supposed to hate him. So that even when things seem good, it scares him, so he ruins it.
I love that he isn't nor was a perfect little victim, that he fought back. I love that he was angry and so confused and so desperate to be loved he joined a gang, and he still didn't get what he needed. I love that he will probably never know if he ever made Albus proud, despite everything. I love how much he hates men. I love how badly he struggles with physical touch. I love that he can never stop punishing himself for his past actions...
And i love to think about him surviving the war, and finally beginning to heal and find real love in several different places. He doesn't take it well, he doesn't just give in. He tries and tries to push them away, but they're here to stay and it breaks down his walls. He cries more often, he shakes and he can't hide his thoughts so well. He falls apart and fails to hide his vulnerabilities. He feels betrayed by his mind and body but every hug, every hush, every ounce of affection given to him makes the burn feel so right. GOD i love brutally damaged characters, and love more to see their pain addressed ❤️🩹
