Why do so many people portray Regulus Black as looking so physically similar to Severus Snape? Harry says Regulus was slightly shorter than Sirius and not as handsome. But considering that, to Harry, no one is as handsome as Sirius —and that Sirius is described as taller than literally everyone— Regulus being a bit shorter doesn’t make him short or average height at all. If Sirius was 190 cm, then Regulus would be around 185 cm. And being “a bit less handsome” than Sirius Black still basically means being a fucking magazine model.

So I genuinely don’t get all these depictions of Regulus as this scrawny, sickly-looking kid with a big nose, because that is literally Severus Snape.
