come on people. the purpose of 'international law' was never to actually promote global peace and cooperation, its a vessel for control by whatever the dominant empire happens to be at any given moment, which has been and will always continue to be ignored or pushed selectively to promote the interests of capital. it has quite literally never been any different. next you're gonna tell me NATO actually promotes peace and prosperity in the world. stop being idealistic
