Veronica de Souza is WIRED’s executive director of audience development and content strategy. She's held roles at Gawker Media (where she was the company's first social editor, building the team from the ground up) as well as The Daily Beast, VICE, and Gothamist. Veronica's audience development experience spans the full spectrum of digital publishing, including subscription strategy, newsletter development, social strategy, and digital product launches. Veronica graduated from Hofstra University with a Bachelors degree in journalism and lives in Brooklyn, NY.
