These finger vibrators come with an earbud-like rechargeable case, but a few too many flaws ruin the fun idea.

Surprisingly powerful. Discreet fun. Easy to use.

Short battery life. Silicone sleeves may not fit. Magnetic proprietary charging cable.

Jimmyjane launched its first incarnation of the Hello Touch finger vibrators more than a decade ago, and it was the most futuristic-looking sex toy on the market. With electro-stimulation pads strapped to two fingers and a wire connected to them that fed into a battery pack—worn on the wrist—the Hello Touch made all other finger vibrators look archaic.

Perhaps it was too cyberpunk for my taste. It looked like something Leeloo from The Fifth Element might have worn, so I passed on reviewing it back then (despite being a fan of the 1997 film). But I've changed. Now that I'm a seasoned sex toy reviewer, no stranger to trying strange-looking pleasure gadgets, I went searching for it. The original has been discontinued, but Jimmyjane recently debuted the Hello Touch Pro, a sleek, modernized version that resembles wireless earbuds more than anything.

Finger Fun

The Hello Touch Pro maintains the same recipe as the original in that the stimulation is all in the fingertips. The difference is that the device is wireless, and we’re dealing with actual vibrations instead of electrical currents. Similar to AirPods and their corresponding case, you get two finger vibrators stored in their own case, which is also used to recharge them.

When they’re fully charged, which takes about 90 minutes, remove them from the case and either use them as they are, like mini wand vibrators, or slip each one into its own silicone sleeve so your fingers themselves become pleasure devices.

The Hello Touch Pro can be used alone or with a partner, both on or in the body (the latter within reason), and because it’s your fingers doing all the work, you can get into spots typical vibrators just can’t, providing stimulation in uncharted territories. For my partner and me, this was the best part. We had so much fun exploring, and we giggled like 15-year-old kids who had discovered a trove of pleasure we were unaware of.

The Hello Touch Pro’s charging case doubles as a wireless remote. So, while your fingers are busy pleasuring all your sensitive bits with one hand, your other hand can control the three shockingly powerful intensities and three patterns with the single button on the front exterior of the case. This can also make couples' play more exciting, as one partner can be busy stimulating with their fingers while the other takes control of the vibration modes. Each finger vibrator can be controlled by a button on the bottom, but the case makes navigating through intensities and patterns easier.

Flawed Execution

My first disappointment with the Hello Touch Pro came with the silicone sleeves. They are very snug, so much so that my top knuckle to my fingertip turned red from lack of circulation, meaning I couldn’t wear the sleeves for long and had to eventually stop using them.

As someone who’s barely 5 feet tall with relatively small hands, if I felt this much discomfort, I can’t imagine what someone bigger than me might experience. Unsurprisingly, my partner could barely get his index and middle fingers in the sleeves. We tried stretching the silicone, but that didn’t help our cause. Frankly, it'd be more comfortable to tie the vibrators to my fingers than try to deal with the sleeves again.

I also didn’t love the play-time-to-charge-time ratio. It takes 90 minutes to fully charge the finger vibrators, then you get only 25 minutes of run time. With some sex toys, this kind of charge time is normal when you're using them at the highest vibration intensity level, but that wasn’t the case here. Because the Hello Touch Pro is so powerful, when I used it alone and with my partner, I never had it on full blast. It would still start to peter out around the 20-minute mark before deciding it needed a full-blown siesta not long after that.

The Hello Touch Pro is a fun finger vibrator, but the ill-fitting sleeves and short battery life ruin it. It's doubly frustrating when you consider the fact that many people with vulvas need at least 20 minutes to become fully aroused, not to mention the relatively high $145 price. (Note: It's often $75 at Amazon.)

These problems aren't isolated to the Hello Touch Pro—Crave's Tease finger vibrator has slightly better battery life (30 minutes), but I had fit issues, and the vibrations were weak. If you're after something compact, perhaps try Crave's Vesper 2, which can vibrate for 40 minutes and doubles as a beautiful necklace. It's not exactly the same kind of finger fun, but at least you'll still be able to feel your fingers after a romp.
