A high perch above Ashfall's smoke; a safe haven; a hoard of clinking gold. This is a suitable charge for the guardian Dread. The lair has over time acquired fire dragons who appreciate its location and its guardians. A gift of treasure from visitors will suffice to alleviate the patriarch's suspicions, despite any ulterior motives they may truly hold.

The main lair houses dragons whose images are what might come to mind when the phrase 'firebreathing dragons' is mentioned. Visitors, travellers and envoys--or spies--who have paid their dues in treasure are tolerated in the outer den.
