Oof, long-term unrequited crushes are hard, I've been there myself (also during my high school years) >_< That's really great though that you were able to open up to her and she's okay with the knowledge that you like her - she sounds like a good friend. It also sounds like you're getting some mixed signals though, which is always confusing, so I can only hope that everything gets sorted out in time without causing you too much stress! And hey, ain't no shame in writing fanfics about your life, haha XD

Aw man, that does sound like a complicated situation - I'm sorry to hear that you caught feelings for your straight best friend :( My advice (which you are totally free to take or leave) would be to try processing your feelings maybe through journaling or continuing to talk with your other friends about it so that you don't bottle it all up, but unfortunately it sounds like you'll have to try to move on if your friend truly is straight - and I'm sorry, I know that super sucks when people's orientations don't match up ;_; Maybe spending more time with your girlfriend will help with overcoming those feelings too, by reaffirming your feelings for each other? Just food for thought, but I know it's all so much easier said than done >_<

Wow that sounds so fun, enjoy Tokyo!! And happy early birthday! I just had mine last month, it's crazy how time flies XD Good luck with that haircut too! It can be fun to change appearances every now and then ^_^ I started dyeing my hair various shades of red my junior year of high school, and I haven't gone back to my natural shade since, lol! But I'm an artist, and I just enjoy my hair being colorful :P
