While I understand your points, calling us people who actually complain "arses" isn't the way to go.
Understand that we have valid points.
(If it was just people complaining that they didn't get five million eggs out of three chests, I'd understand you, but alas, I see so many without ANYTHING out of the chests they have)
The site was buggy because of known reasons. Whenever there was a heavy load of users on the page, the page lagged. The coli lagged. Staff was fully informated about that. And yet they did not think that the load of many more users than the regular 1.5k/2k would happen (seeing as registrations opened just a week before)?
That's highly unlikely. They knew that the site would break. At least they would have suspected it.
Then the insane time you had to spend on grinding. Geez. There is a reason why I don't do the festivals anymore....
Also, the "Nothing free was guaranteed" ... then don't say we should stop complain because we get stuff for free.
We work for it. We're supposed to get something out of it. Not just the experience.
(Btw, complainers complaining about other people complaining are my favorites.)

I should rephrase one thing "Getting an EGG or a SCROLL is not guaranteed. But getting free things are. So yes, complaining about getting free things is just... wrong.
And expressing my annoyance and elation that the event is over versus complaining are totally different things.

Karja, specially with the points regarding the repeatitive grinding, for I am one of those who find that something just too boring.
Those who are complaining aren't doing so just to cause drama, they are doing it for very understandable reasons that have been pointed out uncountable times already in this thread. Just because some people enjoyed the event, this doesn't erase the fact it was still stressful to good part of the userbase and they have every right to voice their frustration. I, like most, just hope the staff doesn't ignore all the critiques and complaints and instead try learning from them.

As this was my first event with the site, my biggest complaint is the single items in the chests. The regular chests that you get such as with leveling a familiar, you get a couple of things, treasure, and food items especially there's a chance to get more than just one of. Really, it would have been great getting 2, 3, or even four chameleons or bugs or what have you. Maybe that and a bird skull or something. You know, to make it feel worth the added effort of participating, whether someone gets that rare egg, scroll, or what have you.
I have to say, the RNG gods were nice to me in this, but I know not everyone got even anything worth the effort out of it. It was pretty heart breaking to open a bunch of chests only to get a small handful of foodstuffs for their efforts. Perhaps next time just more things, food, junk, whatever, could be added to the chests so that it doesn't feel like such a huge waste of time to open so many and get next to nothing from it.

I've opened up 2500+ chests, hoping to get at least ONE scroll, and have not, i had to swap one of my WC scrolls for a Noc scroll.
On the other hand, the RNG managed to give me 19 Noc eggs so far, and many many familiars.
Is there a calculation that is done to determine anything, as I'm quite confused as how RNG actually works o.O

Someone made a calculation outside of the FR that to get 99% of getting scroll you should open nearly 8000 chests (I don't remember the exactly number). But it still don't guarantee you a scroll as RNG might be "lol no".
In theory it's equality for all, but in practice it turned out to be luck based.

well my luck doesn't exist when it comes to dragons because i still have nothing. it ain't fair that the prices are THAT jacked up i mean ya, there new you get lots for them but come on is remotely reasonable that bad an idea. they will go faster
