She wasn't born on an anniversary, but her birth date (June 13th, 2013) means she was laid on launch day! I think that counts. :) My lair was not the one that birthed her, but her lore reflects her early history. Yes... That was her name, wasn't it? It's been quite a while - many years, in fact. She's not sure how she got here. All she remembers is a flight through torrential rains, a crack of lightning, and then darkness. By all accounts, she should be very old by now, but her body still feels young and strong. Her pearl, which would normally have been weathered by the years flowing over her, still shines with the luster of youth. The only thing that seems to have changed is her hide. Was it a different color before? It's hard to say; she doesn't remember much. She sees fleeting wisps of memories -- A den on a cliffside by the sea... someone she loved long ago... She can't remember his name, but she remembers his eyes, full of kindness. She wonders if she'll see him again. But she has a new life now with the strange fey who found her entangled in the heart of these woods. They tell her the brambles preserved her; in this magical forest, they're apparently capable of such things. Why they chose her, however, she does not know. All she knows is she was granted this second chance at life, and it would be ungrateful of her not to make the best of it. [/center]
