Like hearing about past april fools pranks made me pretty excited to experience my first onsite, but I hadn’t even noticed the prank until it was pointed out by others. The moral of the story is maybe don’t have high expectations for these sorts of things :(

The exact extent of the pranks tends to vary a lot from year to year. One year the dragons just got rotated a bit. So it's totally fair to feel disappointed, but this feels pretty in-line with previous stuff to me.
If it helps, people have also noticed that dragons from other people's lairs are now showing up as if they're in your lair, so unless that's somehow an unrelated glitch there does seem to be a little bit more to it.

Flight icons are numbered 1-11 so I just copied the url into the post and then changed the numbers. (For the new "names" I just paged through my dragons).
