Sornieth is the name of the planet. The continent as a whole does not have a given name because to the dragon clans, it IS the world.

I may have accidentally used Sornieth to mean both the continent and the world, but in these threads I've done my best to use language that distinguishes Sornieth the planet from the supercontinent of elemental regions.
And I mean, where else could the Tidelord have gone? Maybe there are deep waterways passing underneath the elemental regions, allowing the Tidelord to escape to the world ocean undetected (actually I think this was hinted at during Dustcarve Dig?). If he's in the larger ocean, he would have to be somewhere far away from the Fathom's path around the globe.

Totally forgot about this thread because of the glorious Fathom release, but I'm not quite done with it so I'm bringing it back!
For starters...

@Sonne hhhhh I desperately don't want that rotten old lady to be right, but I'm also extremely curious what impacts we would see worldwide if the poles flipped instantaneously! It reminds me of a few years ago when the star Betelgeuse was noticeably dimmer and my dad said that it could go supernova sometime soon (soon being relative of course). I would love to witness that as well, as unlikely as it may be. I was lucky enough to observe the total eclipse on April 8th this year and it was unlike anything I've ever seen!
@LeucisticCrow Thanks for sharing your lore! Maybe I'm derailing my own thread but I'd love to know what canonical lore you've collected about dragon culture, language, culinary habits, architecture, etc. That's something I haven't looked into and I'm very curious.

I personally propose that there's a second continent (called Nirotesh) with 13 territories of its own. This, naturally, is to fill out the rest of the Runestones sigils.

GuyFromLoathing Where does the name Nirotesh come from? And are there deities for each of the sigils?

I wrote a whole thing for the continent, with other people.
Here's link. Nirotesh is an anagram of Sornieth, wasn't suggested by me I don't think.

it's gotta be like at least 2 metres. 3, if we're pushing.
