violet is horrible to work with
TOPIC | Least Favorite FR Color?
weird one to mention probably, but moon is one! i like grays but that particular shade is unappealing, and the accents are kindof a clashy wild card. ice is another, it tends to be a bit too saturated.
also putting my votes in for seafoam and just about everything post maroon

Murk is hard to work with, and I have to say, I really do not like Radioactive and idk how it's so popular [emoji=skydancer tongue size=1] Chartreuse is another... I guess these shades of green are not my favorite.
Also I do have beef with the color Amber. It would not stop ruining my hatchies for a while there.
Tarnish. It's the "we have copper at home" of the colour wheel and I don't even like ACTUAL copper!
Honourable mentions from other posts in the thread include maize, cerise, violet, and sadly bubblegum

I don't like Ginger.
Rust and shamrock. I just plain don't care for those shades of color, and they're both very strong, so they're going to be prominent in any design even if the accent colors are matchy.
Blue is a close runner-up. Which is weird because I love almost the entire blue-range, but "blue" hates doing anything interesting accent-wise (with very sparse exceptions. I like blue harlequin but I don't like buying it).
(lots of colors I like getting thrown around in this topic though. I'm a fan of ultramarine/sapphire and seafoam. also I think thistle is overhated; I don't like it paired with other purple-range colors, but it looks good in desaturated compositions, e.g. thistle/spruce/blush. also thistle flair is a very nice gold, one of my fav yellow ranges actually)

Violet. Why is the purple turning brown. Why. Stop it. Stop doing that. Even in the non accent color genes it turns brown sometimes!!!

I like maize but this is apparently a controversial opinion; I prefer antique, tbh, but I feel like cream gives me that greasy yellow-y gross reaction that people describe about maize? Which I do not have. TBF if I'm using maize I'm usually using it in a irishim context, so the weird accents aren't really an issue in that case.
Sapphire hurts my eyes and I wish I could like it but. It hurts :( Shamrock also has zero accent colors and is an unpleasant shade of green. Violet has atrocious accents but I did miraculously make it work on a G1 before and it looks so good as StarCon. Blue is boring and does nothing. So...overall....Shamrock...?
