New DA fan here! I hadn't played DA:O or DA2 before playing DA:I, but I have some good friends who are fans of the series who explained some lore to me beforehand. Loved the game so much that I've gone back to play the other games! I've beaten DA:O, and am now about halfway through Awakening C8

I played through DA2 five times. I have three Inquisitors. I adore my Warden.
Currently more in Mass Effect hell than DA hell, but

DON'T EVEN GET ME STARTED ON MASS EFFECT OH MY GOD
That's a lot of playthroughs! 'O' I only have two Wardens, two (1.5 maybe? I haven't finished my second playthrough) Hawkes and two Inquisitors. I may or may not have played DA:O a second time just to romance Zevran. Just maybe.

I finished ME3 last week and it's been. An experience. Even though Rannoch and Tuchanka hit me the hardest. And Virmire. What a terrible game. What a terrible company. Damn you, Bioware.

I had only one Hawke with whom I experience DA2 five times. I
may have made the same choices, I might have not. No one shall know.
Personally - out of the DA trilogy - I loved DA2 the most, though it might be because it was my first game. The DLC for DA:O is also great - Witch Hunt! A.k.a. the return of Dog.

The Dragon Age series has to be one of my favorite series I've ever encountered in my life, i just cant stop playing the game.

Honestly Dog is the only character that matters
I think I had Zevran and Dog rescue me from prison in DA:O and boy was that an experience
I think DA2 def got some of the most interesting characters (well except Dog since you need a DLC to get Dog), while DA:O got the better story 'o' DA:I wins when it comes to
dragons gameplay, but there was a lot of potential that got wasted 'c'

Started playing the first one a while back, but I'm considering redoing it as a new character whenever I get back to it. ^^;
I was really enjoying it, but my biggest beef is how badly you NEED a mage for a lot of the fights. I didn't like being forced to use Morrigan so much (I like rotating my party evenly), so I'm considering restarting as a mage even though I reeeaally wanted to be a dwarf....
unless i'm just sucking horribly (which is entirely possible)? if anyone has tips on how an average player can survive without mages, i'm all ears.
but yeah, gameplay issues aside, the characters and stuff were pretty great and I'm looking forward to getting back into it! And I was recently able to nab the second one thanks to that Origin bundle.
