@Tsukii I'm sorry!!! I was super busy today. I'll try to give a good overview.


Well, Lyra and Sirius have traveled back and forth with different portals to try and shake off any people from The Order who might b following them. At the moment they are just exiting a portal to the Searcher's base; they are awaiting a meating with the leader to discuss the matter of The Order.


Max and Zeryn are in the map room writing and showing were the Dimension followers have been, and where their portals are. Currently Zeryn and Max have (and still are) having an argument on Zeryn pointing her shotgun at the air vent, which has the observant and undercover Rift member, Nick. Nick has targeted Zeryn, is beginning to study Max more closely and has found a new target in Lyra, who he heard Zeryn faied to catch while on a mission.


Then there are yours and @TheMoonCrazed 's characters. And you already know about that.


Sorry if it's not very clear..... I'll try and answer any thing else you might be unsure about.

Flopping down on the sofa, the man let out a hearty laugh, his eyes upturned pleasantly.

"What do you think?" he responded vaguely, setting the coin on the coffee table so its ridges pinged against the glass. Reaching down once more, he spun it on its side, watching as it teetered a bit before resuming its lop-sided spiral.

"Anyway, the Order paired us up for awhile." Evan continued as if they had been having the same conversation for the past hour, his tone friendly but somewhat aggressive. "I can guess what they were thinking 'cause my 'problem-child' status isn't really a secret. Right?" He flashed Dax a knowing grin, aware that the man was severly annoyed by his presence. What's the fun in being an assasin if you can't manipulate and experience other's emotions?

Feeling one of the tank straps slip down his shoulder, Evan hastily pulled it back up, careful to cover-up a few of the many tattoos that dotted his well-muscled arm. The thin cloth didn't cover much, but it hid just enough that they weren't as noticable. However, though most of his forearm was coated in animals and flowers, the blemishes he had attempted to cover were scars from long ago - ones he had recieved under unfavorable circumstances.

Clearing his throat, he glanced at Dax, hoping that he hadn't noticed the small movement.

I snort as the man gives me a smile then follow him into the corridors to the leaders study. I smile as I feel the sense of familiarity in the way the floors creak at slight movements and how the windows cast squares on the floor. The feeling of home never leaves no matter how many times I've walked down this hall. I set my shoulders back and put more confidence in my steps as we near the great doors to the leaders study.

I scowled at the woman and continue to glare at her back until she starts muttering to herself then after the woman's comment I abruptly stood up slamming the chair into the wall accidentally. "Surprised I haven't caught her yet! Sorry if I don't meet your standards!" I yell to her turned back. "She is a thorn in my side that I have to deal with! I can't always follow every command peers make; if I could, I would have already." I'm shaking with the dismay I feel for having another person telling me how I suck at catching that one girl. I feel like I'm going to smack the table across the room so I steep aside, pull my chair out from where it dented the wall, then moved my legs to the door. Muttering," don't follow me," as I slammed the door shut after exiting the room. I stalk away and fling open the doors to the weapon room where I start shooting at practice targets trying to relieve my shattering heart.

I widen my eyes at the poison-dripping argument that happens in the room below me. I quietly whistle as the responses get harsh. I shake my head and peer out as soon as my target storms out of the room. Im curious so I slowly slide out through the maze of metal. I pry open the door at the exit of the roof air vent. I look around to make sure I won't be ambushed the I sprint to the stairwell and start climbing down the steps. I spot my target, but I don't see the dart that fly's towards me and catches my in the throat. My vision blurs and I stager then collapse onto the stairs at the feet of a stranger. I sluggishly look at the muscular man looming over me. I moan and his foot cracks against my head and he nocks me out cold.

Dax gritted his teeth, hearing the coin clang against the table. His eyes followed from the coin, up Evan's slender arms, then to his face. He instinctively folded his arms over his chest then began to tap under his elbow while thinking.

"Ah... I see..." he muttered, beginning to pace in a small circle. Dax turned around in time to catch his newly acquired companion's grin. He inhaled sharply trying to keep his composure, rather unamused at the whole situation. The icy looking man held in his breath a few minutes while his mind raced, mulling over the possibilities. A small flicker of malice burned across his eyes.

"Hmm... perhaps this.. arraignment could be beneficial to the both of us." he scowled, rolling his finger in a downward circle. "Bad boys.. do not inherently rise amongst the ranks. However..." he paused "obedient assassins do."

Dax' eyes fell towards his new project's shoulder, quickly eyeing the young man's inkwork. His eyes darted quickly away so that he wouldn't appear interested.

"Very well." he murmured, turning his back to Evan, allowing him a moment of privacy. "Unfortunately the accommodations will be cramped." he said as he pointed around the room, knocking the hidden object behind his back loose. Two small pink bunny ears slid from under his shirt, making it seem as if he had a "tail" of some sort. "Basically this one room is all we have.. and in that small closet to the left is what the state considers an adequate bathroom. Be warned.. the bathroom is just a toilet and a shower head on the opposite wall." he paused for another thought. "We can begin our work tomorrow"

Ranks, he thought, rolling his eyes. They didn't really mean much to him because Evan did whatever he wanted no matter his position. After all, he was in the Searchers, wasn't he? That was a great appointment anyway - at least, as a member of the Order. The Searchers had a bit more freedom than the other group members, that is, according to how Evan saw it. That in itself was good enough incentive for him to want to join; the more he could push the rules to the limit the better. He had his own reasons for entering the Order - the goals he wanted to accomplish needed a lift on the normal code of restrictions else he could never succeed.

As he obediently listened to Dax's low-pitched voice, the assasin's eyes locked on two fluffy (but rather worn) objects poking out from under the shirt hemline, their appearence making the whole situation seem absurd.

Ok, I'm gonna need you to not laugh, he scolded himself, quickly raising the back of his palm to cover a smile that grew infinately larger the more he looked at the cute tail. The man could almost feel himself tremble in glee as the pastel object swung around everytime Dax moved. It was as if he was flouncing around some sort of lolita fashion cosplay. But, of course, he had to keep his eyes from staying fixated for too long otherwise the discrepency would be obvious.

However, as time dragged on, Evan resolved that - even though looking may not be the best option - tugging at the object was most certainly smarter. Ah, the logic of a child trapped in an adult's body. Waiting for Dax to come full circle, he stealthly reached out and pulled, jerking the...stuffed animal? out of the man's clothing.

Well, he definately wasn't expecting that.

Two beady eyes poked out of a filthy complexion, its whole face completely expressionless. The tail sewn onto the back had been mostly plucked of its once white fabric, the remaining ball consisting of loose threads and brown stiching.

In fact, he was thinking more along the lines of a guest's long forgotten attire; a woman's for example. Dangling the rabbit (was it even an animal? He couldn't tell - the years had not been kind to the plush) a good foot away from his body, Evan waited for Dax to notice that his dainty tail had been confiscated.

"Someone has odd hobbies," he remarked, placing the disheveled toy onto his lap as a trophy.
