For Those Curious About the Next Opening
I recall posting some time ago that I planned to do an opening roughly two months ago. Obviously, this did not happen. It was not my intention to deceive anyone; the opening did not happen for several reasons and I regret not being able to reopen when I said I would. This post will likely be wordy, but an explanation is overdue!
For years now I've been (unsuccessfully) battling with anxiety and depression, the major reasons my productivity suffers on most days. Last year was especially difficult between graduating college, failing to find employment, and moving homes late in the year. My sister was also injured during the move, and so I helped care for her during the months she was unable to move on her own. I've never attempted to pursue therapy or medication either, and by the new year it was obvious I wasn't getting anywhere. Near the end of February this year, I was finally able to visit a doctor and get officially diagnosed and medicated, as well as gain a part-time job. For the past two months I've been adjusting to the new medication and job, and slowly but steadily improving my mental health. Which is good! Because the better I get, the better I'll be able to tend to art!
Many of you have been waiting for a long while for a reopening, but it shouldn't be much longer now. And for my current commissioners, I can't stress enough how much I appreciate the patience you've given me.
To My Current Commissioners
A few of you have sent me requests in the past few months for information about your commission, and I assure you that I never lied about the progress of your pieces in my replies! Most of the orders are already finished, I just simply had issues working out the logistics of sending the files to everyone. In fact, there is only one order that hasn't been finished as of the submission of this post, and it is the last of the site currency commissions. The others are ready to be sent to their respective owners, and will be delivered by the end of the weekend!
The first page will be updated to reflect the current status of each commission; anyone who hasn't received theirs even though the status is (Complete) will have theirs sent in the next few days! If your piece isn't sent by Monday, please notify me.
