General info
-18+ please, I'm 27 and would like to rp with other adults. That being said I personally like to keep subject matter SFW.-My posting can be heavily sporadic. I'll do my best to keep you in the know, however. Obviously you can take your time too, real life comes first.
I'm not online in general on Sundays and Mondays
-I'd prefer minimal one-liners, outside that post length is not an issue. This would be a super casual rp.
-I'm looking for a long term partner(s)
-Forum rp is not my thing, I prefer Discord, PMs here or Google Docs.
-I'm a character person, if you're looking to explore world-building let me know. We can add it in.
-I do like OOC chatter, if you'd prefer strictly rp, let me know.
-Timezone GMT-7
-I'm pretty open to most genres, I'd prefer not to do romance though. Don't care for the "meet, "screw", babies" format. Just not my thing, I'm afraid.
-I prefer basic planning, setting up a general premise or goal. Just so there's less risk of meandering. We can always change things if we want later.
About my clans
Note: clan names are hyperlinked
Note: clan names are hyperlinked
My dragons are spread across the Icefields: The Inner Mountain Clans residing in the Fortress of Ends, The Outer Mountain and Coastal Clans residing in the SnowSquall Tundra and Frigid Floes, the Isle clans residing on the Frigid Floes and isles between the Southern Icefields and the Starwood Strands.
They are seen as fairly primitive, they don't use the technologies found in the more advanced regions. Their focus is on family and the general survival required from the harsh environment. Protection of the herds is priority above all else.
Most of my clan lives high in the mountains of the Fortress of Ends. Staunch isolationists many trekked there after the war between the IceWarden and the Stormcatcher and Flamecaller.
Views on the war a split, though many lived through it. Some seeing it as an unfair attack, two brothers ambushing another, jealous of his land. Others saw the war as the peaceful Ice tundras being forsaken. The Warden turning a blind eye to the suffering of his children. Perhaps to prove a loyalty to his brothers? The ice tundras aren't quite sure.
Greatly distrusting of outsiders, and even Ice dragons that are neither tundra or fae, and fae fought hard for their place. Some fae not always being fully trusted by the tundra.
Many dragons here are devout. Those who felt forsaken have turned to worship in hopes that they'll be forgiven and seen as worthy of protection in the future.
It is unwise to speak ill of the Warden, and be wary if you choose to discuss the war.
The dragons here are always on their toes, so to speak. Many are quick to anger, only willing to give the benefit of the doubt when there's clear favor to be gained.
The dragons here are frequently young, and far more welcoming. Most of them are from the Inner -Mountain clans, they immigrated due to the desire to prove their parents wrong. They believe that tales of the war are grossly over-exaggerated(or rather, want them to be). That other dragons aren't just cruel looking to harm, steal and take advantage. There must still be kindness in Sornieth.
Due to a tundra's instinct to stay with family though they are quick to cling to individuals, hoping to fill that void, it doesn't always end well and can be off-putting to the dragon of their interests.
If your clan is Fire or Lightning this is the safest place to be. Old teachings are still ingrained, they may be wary of such dragons, but they mean no harm here.
A chain of isles between the Icefield mainland and the Starfall Isles, proof of how much larger the Icefields once were. Perhaps they were once connected, these dragons don't remember, however.
Dragons here have no real flight identity. They may carry the marks of the Icewarden or the Arcanist, but the dragons here put stock in neither.
The isles being a mesh of culture carrying the value in curiosity the Arcanist holds and the wariness of outsiders instilled by the Icewarden. It can be rather conflicting for them. Unlike the mainlanders they don't have specific vendettas, choosing just to trust no one, even their Ice and Arcane brethren.
They're less prone to anger and violence than the Inner-Mountain clans, however. Most of their feelings coming from isolation rather than trauma.
Out of Icefield Options
I have a few dragons that would be willing to explore other flights they are: Sheer, Tae, Chuck, and/or Dutch
Armagan would be available to go back home and run into Fire flights
If you don't mind me starting from scratch character-wise my fandragons are also an option.
Just let me know and we'll figure something out. If you're interested drop me a PM or reply here and we'll go from there.
