really hope devs keep recent forum activity to six or so threads, i often use that to revisit threads and i would be severely disappointed if it were to be reduced to three threads.
i like the mockup people have been posting in this thread, it's interesting- but i hope comments stay front and center lol!

It's an it's an... ok start I think. I agree with a lot of the sentiments already stated.
So honestly silver lining at the mo' is that what we see now is a WIP mockup. Totally subject to changes.
Neutral to the ideas others have made but the user made mockups are going in a better direction than the staff made one.

aaaa i agree!! just 3 recent posts feels like nothing hahah - we have 7 visible right now so going down to less than half would feel really bad imo ;v;

Exactly this.
All this unnecessary frames make both too less space for info in blocks. And same time unneeded space betwin borders is waist of space.
This design should not appears please

It'll take me a while to get used to it. I'm not change friendly so even good changes make me grumpy until I get used to them. I think I'll like it in time, after an adjustment period.

i definitely prefer this mock-up than the floaty disjointed way that the refactor looks :c
there's something about the refactor look that feels extremely... messy to my brain?? i think it's all the unused space between things, and the "boxy" look itself doesn't really help either...

Glad to see the profile page getting a new look. I do hope it will have some tweaks though. The current mockup is putting off a little bit. It gives a busy look.
It is similar what forums and dragon profiles used to look when they got a new look. They were spacious and cluttered at the same time because of individual boxes. As well there is no background that would keep them connected solid way. They look like they are floating right now.
The order with activity, forum and friends would be better in other way. Forum at the top, activity in the middle and friends at the bottom. The profile picture and vista section on the right feels unnecessary large too.
However, the current mockup is not a final version. There is time to adjust it while it is work in progress.
