The jokes about "Tidelady" a few pages back reminded me of my headcanon from a while ago:
You know how the Eartshaker instructs his freshly-created Obelisks that "You must protect her"?
Well, the "her" probably just means Velia and I´m reading into it too much, but back then, given everything surrounding the Obes' discovery and discovery of the fact that Tidelord was just recently there in that cave (iirc), my first thought was - what if Tidelord will eventually come out (of hiding) as Tidelady?
We´ve got Fiona, so why not also a trans (or genderfluid, for representation and for the pun) deity?
And hey, "It´s NOT Tidelord" could very well be tactical wording...
Well, probably not "very well". As cool as it would be, it´s probably a little too far-fetched as a theory - as of now (yet?), at least ^^;
But who knows?
