most of june for me was spent preparing for artfight. because of this, it was on my mind all the time, even in my dreams. i would consistently have nightmares of various scenarios of things going WRONG. i admit i’m very scared of artfight still and putting myself out there is horrifying. but i am firm in that i want to try this again. especially since i’ve been so hyperfixated on my ocs again rather than fandom interests.

I never thought I would kind of miss late 2021 and the entirety of 2022. They were not wonderful years and I do NOT miss being in the throes of grief but still there were some things about them that I really kind of miss.
But also, maybe I would have thought to check on my previous partner that one night, maybe he never would have disappeared if I had done that instead of assuming he was fine and just doing my own thing. Just the uncertainty of not knowing exactly what happened to him, even though I feel better in general now, it still eats at me.

Flipped dragons are so dizzyingly abnormal right now but at the same time, female coatls somehow look much prettier flipped to me. They look much more like their crest is just flattened down rather than like it's coming out of their neck for some reason.
