Joxar's spare inventory has almost all other Elemental holiday items from 2013. Why not the Forgetools? Why not the other ones too? Lightning, Ice and Nature are also missing recolors.
Or at least give us blacksmithing tools not tied to a holiday. Metalsmiths are practically using their fists out here to shape metal. Unless they were around for that first Flameforger festival. Our other options are [gamedb item=63320]... or [gamedb item=64796].

I'm really not sure how coding stuff works, but is having the original files for the item that important? Is it a matter of having the files allows for the recolors to be created?
Either way, I'd love to see a recolor for the Forgetools, as well as the rest of the fest pieces that don't have their recolor. I too find myself struggling with metalsmiths, and while the Carpentry Tools + Tongs were such a great addition, I still hope for those Forgetools.

I'd love this. Even if the old files are gone, there's always the option of redrawing the apparel. Like Valrunie mentioned this is something that's already been done.
The Metallurgist's Forgetools is one of the most commonly requested items I've seen in suggestions and it's high time we get a recolour. The other missing apparel is also very useful (shackles especially) and doesn't have a good replacement.

hi, artist here, the problem with not having the original files is that they'd either have to:
chop up the existing apparel, which was likely downsized to a lower resolution when added to the site from something higher, so the image they're editing will be "fuzzier" than its original and need more cleanup overall. or completely redraw it on every breed, which is the most likely thing to happen if we ever do get recolors
either way i do support, if staff wont add y1-3 items to joxbox at least give us this. also support for sophie having recolors as someone suggested above, a handful of alt colors sewable during fest windows would be fun

Support, even if they don't have the PSDs for it, I think you can do quite a bit with hueshifting and filters. Honestly, metallurgist forgetools would look awesome in a greyscale, making the edit pretty easy even if they only have the PNG files.
